Summer's been Busy...
A Falcon Boy Scout Troop 550 did an Eagle Project which resulted in a Fire Pit with seating and the camping area is being laid out. We have a couple more Eagle Scout Projects coming in the next month - they have been a blessing to the us at the Ranch!
We participated in Calhan Pride which is the local people from Calhan got together for a fun day and night of softball, craft fair, food and music. We enjoyed the game and had our own Soaring Eagles Ranch Team.
If you have not been to the ranch yet and would like to see our horses or just visit, feel free but do call ahead so we know to expect you. We are approximately 16 miles from downtown Falcon. Hope to see you soon!
Would you help for a few hours? Volunteers Needed!
September 7th starting at about 10 am we will have a work day. The east barn door needs repair and we will weather proof the barn with a special plastic, along with a few other jobs. Many hands makes light work. Your help is valuable! Come alone, with your family or a group.
Please RSVP so we know how many to expect.
Hay is for Horses
We had offered the Ranch to anyone who needed to board their horses due to the Black Forest Fires at the beginning of the summer.
A neighbor heard the story and donated several bales of hay for our horses and any others that may be boarded.
Another donation of several large bales of hay also arrived at the Ranch.
What a BIG Blessing and we need to protect the hay - hence the workday. Rejoice with us and especially the horses who will be well fed this winter.
